What I help with
Evidence-Based Approaches
Different approaches can support different needs. Treatment is thoughtfully tailored to the individual, with an emphasis on practical skills, clinical expertise, and a compassionate understanding of each person’s experience.
DBT
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
A structured, skills-based approach for navigating intense emotions, difficult situations, and relationships. DBT develops practical skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.
DBT-C
Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children
An adaptation of DBT designed for children and their families. DBT-C helps young people build age-appropriate skills for managing emotions, coping with distress, communicating effectively, and navigating challenging behaviors—while supporting caregivers in reinforcing those skills at home.
DBT-PE
DBT + Prolonged Exposure
An integrated approach combining DBT skills with Prolonged Exposure therapy for trauma-related difficulties. DBT provides a foundation of emotional regulation and coping skills, while Prolonged Exposure supports gradual, structured processing of traumatic memories and situations that have become difficult to face.
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
A collaborative approach that explores the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT helps identify patterns that may be contributing to distress and develops practical strategies for approaching thoughts, behaviors, and situations in more adaptive ways.
TF-CBT
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
A specialized approach for children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. TF-CBT combines trauma-sensitive therapeutic techniques with cognitive and behavioral strategies, helping young people process difficult experiences while developing skills for managing emotions, thoughts, and trauma-related responses.
ART
Accelerated Resolution Therapy
A structured, trauma-focused approach that works with distressing memories, emotions, and experiences. ART uses guided techniques to help individuals reprocess difficult experiences and develop a different emotional relationship with memories that continue to affect them.
